San Francisco goes wild for everything about food and last week the foodie dreams came true at SF Weekly’s DISH Event. The magazine hosted a glamorous feeding frenzy with the City’s coolest edible adventures. Repping the SF Marina, Mezes left its home base on Chestnut Street and cruised to SOMA with samples of our most raved about tapas like Spanakotiropita (crunchy spinach and feta pies), Tzatziki (dill and Greek yogurt dip), Keftedes (seasoned meatballs) and Dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves full of herbs). Our buddies from Six Sigma Ranch Walt Campbell and Matt Hughes came with us and poured a fabulously popular Sauvignon Blanc (guava, melon and a citrusy, crisp personality) and an awesome Cabernet Sauvignon (a dark and mysterious blend of coffee, bittersweet chocolate and blackberry flavors). We ate, drank and mingled to our heart’s content while sharing our divine dishes and Six Sigma’s boutique wines. Can’t wait for DISH 2013! Check out the new wine list at the Mezes wine bar!
